Nutrition management

Working with nutrient management

RMA nutrient management uses nutrient sensors to match nutrient application to crop needs. The nutrient sensors measure the available amount of nutrients for the crop in the root zone, for example nitrogen and potassium. This information determines the right time and the right amount of extra nutrients to be applied.

Nutrients for good crop yield

Good data prevents a crop from receiving too little or too much nutrients. Nutrients are very important for a good crop yield and good crop quality. Nutrient deficiency can affect yield. An excess of nutrients can lead to extra leaching, which in turn leads to a negative crop yield.

Precision nutrition

Growing with RMA nutrient management is precision nutrition and ensures higher crop yields through an efficient use of nutrients. And because nutrition management does not use more nutrients than necessary, it contributes to sustainable agriculture.
