Online and continuous measurement of water quality is becoming increasingly important in our environment. This requires long-term stability of the sensor.
We also sometimes have to measure in small amounts of water. In that case, the standard solution of simply placing the sensor in water is not possible.
RMA is investing in the development of an innovative flow cell that pumps up water, takes a measurement and then rinses the sensor. Because the sensor is not continuously under water, membrane sensors remain stable for longer. It is also possible to measure in shallow ditches or even drains.
This gives RMA a flexible solution that delivers high-quality data. The development of a prototype is financially supported by the VIA2021 scheme.
