From May 18 to 21, RMA will be represented by Hakiem el Wagieh on an innovation mission to Egypt with a group of Dutch companies as organised by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO).

The visit focuses on climate- and water-smart agriculture, with a focus on open field cultivation. It is particularly targeted at large agricultural companies focused on exporting various agricultural and horticultural products.

Drought and soil salinization are major challenges in Egypt. Smarter water management, data-driven solutions, and precision agriculture are therefore important solutions that larger agricultural companies are investing in.

The mission is co-facilitated and organized by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO).
