Knowlegde exchange project started

A knowledge exchange project is being launched with farmers in the Kop van Drenthe region for the use of the On-Farm Soil and Water Planning Tool to improve water quality in the area.

The goal is to raise awareness of soil quality and specific water quality issues arising from policy, among other things. The project uses the Business Soil and Water Plan to clarify the area's objectives. Based on the area's objectives and the specific characteristics of each field, the most effective measures can be implemented for each field. The project consortium consists of De Databoerin, the Nutrient Management Institute (NMI Agro), RMA, IntoAgri, and a group of arable and livestock farmers around Zeijen. The project is co-funded by the Province of Drenthe and the European Regional Development Fund.
